hi my toshiba laptop is reacting very slow and will pop up blue screen...

Could be overheating, try hoovering the vents.

Download AVG free or AVAST antivirus and run a scan (both freeware)
Also maybe Spybot Search and Destroy or Antimalwarebytes for the spyware/malware (again both free). Uninstall the norton first btw.

Could also be failing ram. if you got more than 1 stick, take one out and try it, then the other to see if you got a bad stick.

...automatically and shut the laptop? hi i have got a toshiba laptop. and its norton anti virus is expired i guess. now it is very slow reacting for any action and suddenly a blue screen pop up and my laptop shut down suddenly automatically why is that and can u please give a solution for that problem? and i have not even format the laptop.
