high school newspaper story ideas?

i am the editor of my small town high school newspaper that comes out every week in our towns newspaper. we have trouble coming up with enough interesting story to fill our paper every week though with our town and school being so small not much goes on...do you have any interesting story ideas we could use? thanks to everyone in advance!
 
The slam dunk contest last night, say who won why they won what was the best part (In general) say what other people want to hear not what you want to hear.

I am having the same problem.. & all foy uo fucking bitches saying stupid shit... we do need help sometimes... next time you need help think twice because maybe someone will be as immature as you were & say stupid CRAP. stfu.
 
we have issues on this at my school too but I actually went through and took some serious teenage issues and wrote stories on those we also used things outside of school that could be tied back to the school such as recent high gas prices and such
