Schama's History of Britain? Hi everyone, need some assistance here. Do any of you know of the availability of DVDs featuring a complete history of France, Italy, Russia, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Austria, and Turkey that are similar to the beautiful narration of Simon Schama's History of Britain? Of all the European countries, I am most interested in the History of France (about the royals and how they lived; the art; the revolutions; world war, napoleon...), Italy (the Medici family from Florence, the artistes, the renaissance, bonfire of the vanities, Rome's elite, the Mafia, the days of gladiators and early Christianity), Russia (the Tsars, Rasputin, etc), Spain (The inquisitions, the royals, the trade and travels), Turkey (the Ottomans travels and conquests).
