Home made ridge vent?

Is their any way to make your ow ridge vent? It doesn't have to be fancy and i cant really spend any more on making my chicken coop. even if it only lasts for a few years that is all i need. Please help!
 
If your not going to insulate the roof itself, and I dont think you will.....just cut a hole in both gables, up at the peak, and use screen and and strapping of some sort.....like a frame, and cover the holes. The only purpose of a ridge vent is to keep condensation from occuring and this will help eleminate that.
