Honda rebel as main transportation?

Yeah I'm a 22 year old male. I am 5,11 and 200 pounds. I am looking into buying a honda rebel as my main source of transportation. I'm just curious but ive heard that it is uncomfortable for a guy my size. Also I would like to know if it is a good idea to ride on the highway. I live in houston, Tx BTW. Thank you for your time.
