I have a an LCD tv that has a PC (VGA port) and 2 HDMI ports. and My Computer monitor has a DVI-D output. and my Tower has the VGA port also. I bought an HDMI to DVI Cable. When I hook it up to the TV and then Attach the other end to my Montior that has the DVI port it says No Connection on the tv.
Question: Why can't I go from the Computer Monitor that has the DVI-D port to the TV that has the HDMI ports?
Do I HAVE to use the VGA ports? It will probably make my life easier but Why won't the desktop show on the tv when I use the ports that are made for this?
