so im breaking an eight year old shetland pony. lets just say hes a complete total jacka**. :S does any body have some tips i could use to try and break this pony he is 12 hands and he is fat and stalky. ive done a week of bonding time and have done pretty good but the last day i tried something and it went horribly wrong and i couldn't go near him to get it off. after about 10 pr 15 minutes i finally got close enough to grab his halter and get it off him. well he loves bucking and stuff, ive leaned on him and layed acrossed his back and he kind of bucked. he doesn't like pressure on his back and the little girl is learning to become a jumper and would love it if someone could reply and i know somethings like put the western saddle on him and then let him go the put water jugs on each side tied to the horn of the saddle and gradually fill it up With what ever is kinda heave like pebbles/stones or water. so if someone could please help me? and if you have any questions i could try to answer them with what knowledge i have
thanks, Kesha.
