How can I connect my LG Chocolate phone to the bluetooth in my Ford Fusion car?

I have a verizon LG Chocolate cell phone and a Ford Fusion car..
How do I connect my phone so that I can talk "hands free"?
Do I need to buy a special blue tooth thing or what?
