Jul 27, 2010 #1 B BillB1 New member Feb 7, 2009 3 0 1 ok im using my tv as an external monitor for my hp lap top, im connecting them with an hdmi cable. the picture on the tv is great but i can never get the soudn to come from the tv(external monitor) instead of my laptop. is there a way to do this?
