Depends on how much more HP you want. Adding High Flow Air Intake system and filters such as Air Hawg or K&N will boost it about 10%. About $40. Also Flowmaster tuned exhaust, Superflow 40's or 60's will give 25hp +.

Now the bigger money. Nitros Oxide (NOS) Bottle injection system will add at least 100hp or more. About $700 plus.

Turbocharger, about $1500-$2500. Superchargers, I've not seen for 4 cylinders. You can boost a 4 cylinder car engine up to 340 hp in some cases.

Or replace the engine with a small block V8 crate engine. Jasper Engines, Yearone Classics, etc.

The Celica stock engine puts out a lot of torgue for the small size and high revs, but still depends on pistons, valves, lifters, and things that break. Consider replacing the engine with a Mazda (Wankle German Built) Rotary Engine and transmission. Usually 160hp at 4000 rpm, but the motor can turn up to 12,000 rpm. That's an easy 100 mph in 5th gear at 4000 rpm, and still get 28 mpg. Top end speed with weight and load will be over 160 mph.

The rotary engine has only 3 basic moving parts. Usually only about 1146cc (1.1L), for a tiny motor it produces a large amount of HP and torque.
