How can I politely tell my two gay friends to pipe down a bit?

They're my very closest friends, and I don't want to tell them that they're too loud when they're having sex. We live in a dorm room at the academy, for four. There is a thin wall between the dorm room where you split with roommates. Almost every night I hear moaning and groaning from my friend. I don't want to tell him to pipe down when he's with his boyfriend (who is also his roommate), and usually I'd just lay down and enjoy (LOL I'm a perv. I know.) but we've got classes in the morning and throughout the day, and I'd like to get some sleep. They've been together for 8-9 months and have just kind of ''discovered'' sex with each other. (I know this because they are very open with me, because we've been friends since we were in diapers.) How do I politely ask my friend to be a little quieter at night?

well it sounds weird but it's actually quite simple. some time pull him aside so that it's just the two of you, and say something along the lines of "um it's kind of embarrassing to say, but sometimes i can hear you and your boyfriend (it would be better to say his name) at night. normally i wouldn't care, but it;s kind of been keeping me up."

i have found that the key to not coming off as a bitch is to be the vulnerable one. so the more awkward you act, the better

and be like, ummm hey guys. i'm so glad ya'll are enjoying yourselves at night (wink) but umm do you think you could maybe be a little more quiet at night? i just want some sleep is all. its not that i bothers me, not at all. i just want to fall asleep a little easier

Sounds like you did a good job of it in the way you asked your question here. Just read to them what you just asked here and they will get the picture. If they don't, it is they who have the problem, not you.

oh oh or like u say they are very close to you and share their "thoughts" ,so u be frank to them too??? o.o
tell them to "be a tiny bit less enthusiastic" while having sex?
