Nothing on the retail list says anything about a Sirius/XM option but the radio has a AM-SAT button on it. Does this mean the radio is compatible and all I have to do is suscribe or do I still need a receiver installed?
You should name the year, make and model of your car and maybe someone could answer that. I'm guessing you have a Mazda? If you do, you'll need the antenna and Sirius/XM receiver. The Mazda one from the dealer is $430. It's a pain to install in the Mazda3.
If you push the button marked SAT on a car equipped with Satellite radio you will get the information channel that will tell you how to subscribe. More than likely though your radio is Satellite ready meaning a receiver and possibly an antenna need to be installed to get Satellite radio.
