How can i tell my parents that i need more freedom to do things?

Im now 19, in college living at home b/c i live like 5 minutes away from school so i never moved out. My mom is still looking at me like im a child, when i want to go out with friends she always asks where im going and that i need to be home soon. Last time i tried to tell her that i need some space she starts to tell me that the only reason i want more freedom so i can do things that she wont approve, she gets mad and does not talk to me for weeks, im 19 i don't smoke i don't drink, i cant ever get a girl b/c i cant even go out somewhere where i can meet one, cant ever do anything without her approval this is driving me insane. I wanna be able to go out with friends and have fun, meet people i don't even have real friends, the only friends i have is the ones i make at work, she has me on a lock down. I cant hang out past like 12 midnight when i live home she calls me like 10 times asking me when im coming home. PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE ME A WAY TELL HER THAT I NEED FREEEEDOM, IM 19 ONLY ONCE I WANT TO ENJOY LIFE, SOME HELP ME!!!!!

Alright, i can understand where your mother is coming from being protective; i have a mother the same exact way. You are 19 years old, legally she can't order you around, but she is still providing for you. In my own case, i do have to lie because my mom is crazy, almost like your mom. I just say i am going to a friends house or a study group. Parents usually don't deny education work. If that doesnt really work your just going to have to talk to her and tell her that 19 years old and that you can make choices for yourself. That what growing up is all about.

your 19 and your mom needs to understand that... just show her how responsible and trustful you really are and she should eventually come around to the idea..

feel lucky man my curfew is 9:00 sharp I'm supposed to be in bed lights out right now at the age of 18!

Simply talk to her and tell her that your feeling suffocated by the rules and you would like to know what it would take to gain enough of her trust to change them.
