i have a 08 6 speed manual frontier. and ive race my friend who has a 5.0 gt...and i always take off on him from a straight line i think i get a truck and a half away from him but wen i hit 3rd gear at about 75 he gets away so why is that? i was thinking it might be because my truck has a limit of 115mph and his mustang 145mph...if i take my speed limiter off would that make a diffrence? will he still take me? and is he just a bad shifter or is it normal for gt to take off like a snail? in stock form
