How can you play Nintendo GameCube games on a Wii?

How can you play GameCube games on a Wii? Do you need a GameCube controller in order to do it? Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
You SHOULD just have to put in the game disc and use the wiimote as the controller
 
The wii is basically a supercharged gamecube with motion controls, all the gamecube hardware is contained inside. All you need to play gamecube games is a gamecube contoller and memory card.
 
Yes. Just put in the GameCube game disc into the Wii and you can play. But you need a GameCube controller.
 
As the previous people have stated, you need a gamecube controller to play them.

furthermore, "how" is because all next gen consoles are backwards compatable. so the ps3 can play ps2 and ps1 games and the xbox 360 can play xbox games.
 
just pop in the gamecube disc and connect a gamecube controller on the side of the wee theres 4 slots for gamecube controllers if you open the panel
 
put the disk in the same way as a wii disk & plug in a gamecube controller
