How difficult is the AP Comparative Government and Politics exam?

I've completed the AP U.S. Govt and Politics exam, and I'm considering trying to get a study book and take the exam for comparative. Is it hard? Has anyone else been successful on the exam without taking the course, what's a good book for it?
