how do a take a clip from a DVD and put it onto youtube?

i have a dvd with videos I made when I was little, the root menu is just a list of a bunch of single videos you can watch, I want to upload only two of them, not the whole thing, how do I do this?

Steps to follow:
Insert DVD in to the DVD/CD Rom of computer
If DVD start by auto leave the window by click x on top right side. Or if it is not auto start then
Click on My computer you will see DVD Icon right click on it you will see a menu
Click on Open
You will see files inside DVD. In some cases there are chapters or only files.
Try to play (may be VOB) and check which part got the scene you want to use.
If you find right click on it copy and paste in to new folder or else where you can locate it easily. Do the same for rest.
As on youtube we can not upload dvd format we need to convert dvd in to video format for that
use any kind of converter. Check the link below for freeware. It is nice and safe from spy ware I use this one. You can also trim the needed scene in any video converter and can join them in to one file.
First download it if you do not have any video converter, then install it. After installation please read help file. After that, do not forget to set output folder where you want to save converted video you can do it from File menu/Set out put folder.
Open your any video converter, click on add button browse your dvd saved scene import them. Now you should look at right, you will find Profile window click on black arrow a drop down menu then choose a format for youtube you can use avi or wmv these are good or Mpeg4.
Below this is a Player window, under that there are setting, choose video size(640x480 is fine) and audio(mp3 is fine) if you want.
After completing setting just hit on Convert button and quickly your dvd will be converted to video format you can later edit that video in windows movie maker or else or you can upload to youtube.
