How do I apologize for a practical joke?

About a week ago I put sperm on my cousin's tampon and then resealed it, and soon after she started crying that she's going to get pregnant. The joke's on her though, because I've been eating birth control pills for the past few weeks.

The problem is, even after I explained to her that she will be alright, she still kept crying and being mad about it. I guess I didn't consider that a harmless prank could get someone so upset. How can I apoligize for pranking her?
 
off course, 1st and for most you should apologize to her in the most sincerest way you can.Tell her that you were ignorant and did'nt think that such a prank and get someone so upset. Promise her that you will never do it again. Again, you have to sincere about it so that she'll buy it and you have to be serious about it. Try to ask her some ways you can make it up to her and what not.
