How do I backup my music/photos/video to a dvd? 10 points?

My laptop is about to breakdown. I need to backup my important files fast. How do I go about backing up to a dvd? What are other quick methods.
 
Burn as DATA to a DVD

or

Move the files over to a FLASH DRIVE

or

Connect your Cell Phone to your PC and use it as a FLASH DRIVE or HARD DRIVE and put the files on your cell phone (this is if you have a large enough SD card installed in your cell phone)
 
To Back-Up to DVD
Open Nero or your preferred DVD burning software,put in blank DVD choose create Data DVD then browse for your files select em and start this can take some time...
Other fast methods:
Copy your files to a USB flash drive or to an external hard drive.
