Hello,
I have a charging plug for a cell phone that has an output of 5.7V (DC) with 800mA of current.
My MP3 player uses one AAA battery, that has an available voltage of 2.5V.
Can I run my MP3 player off of the plug by putting 3.2 volt resister between the plug and the MP3 player? This would drop the voltage to 2.5, but how would that affect the amperage?
I was thinking something like this:
