I just really want to go camping and here's what we have to work with:
Poor
Mom is not outdoorsy
Dad is gone
Need some tips if so
like:
Tent, Food, Clothing if you have the idea thanks! :)

Have you asked her already? If you have and she said no then I would suspect that you may not be able to convince her. But you can emphasize how you would be spending quality time with her, away from the worries of daily life, and you would be making lasting memories. Also, you do not have to go into the deep wilderness to go camping. You can go to designated campgrounds, near your area that have working showers and running water.

You can go for a weekend and buy a small tent, sleeping bags, a lantern, a few flashlights, newspaper, firewood and kindling, clothes appropriate for weather, camping chairs, a cooler, ice, milk, cereal, hot dogs, some drinks and pretty much be set for 2 nights of camping.

Good luck!

Hiking won't be too difficult for her to do with you and there are hundreds of places you could go for just the day. You have a single mom working hard to get you the things you need what she doesn't need is to have to do all that in the woods the hard way too.

One solution is to go with an organized group and many churches have family camp every summer. There everything is taken care of all you need to do is bring your clothes and sleeping bags and maybe the ten essentials for any day hikes but the rest is all taken care of no cooking, tent setting or dirty dishes to worry about you and your mom can just have a good time. sometimes they also have scholarships for families in need to just call and ask

I would go with a friend or something.. Because i am a mom myself... And nothing you could say or do could make me "want" to go.. Maybe if you go as a big group with other families, and play with your mom's emotions a lil.. Tell her that you would like the memories, and you guys could relax and spend some bonding time.. And mother's day is coming up.. Ect..
