How do I get rid of these annoying lines in Microsoft Word?

Alright so i was typing up my notes for class and I made a line to separate my rough notes from the final copy. I used the shortcut ____ + enter, but now I can't get rid of the lines. When I try to make point form notes or a numbered list, the line appears under and above that section. When I add a page break, the line appears at the bottom of the page. This is getting really annoying!!'

I would just click 'undo', but I put the line in a while ago not knowing it would do this and I've since closed and reopened the document. My computer is operating on Windows 7 if that helps...
