How do I reset a bluetooth dongle?

My computer had a "turn off dongle" setting, but then I got a virus and had to wipe the entire computer, now when I plug in the same bluetooth device, it installs a Human Interface Device driver and not a bluetooth radio driver. How do I reset the dongle, or at least get the computer to recognize that the HID device is a bluetooth radio?
 
Left click on My Computer. Select PROPERTIES. Select Hardware then Device Manager (XP) or Device Manager (Win 7). Scroll down to Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Generally you can safely remove EVERYTHING in that category to reset the USB stack if you do not see your particular device listed. Then reboot and plug your devices back in.
