how do i rip the video off the dvd i made?

hello i am trying to make you tube videos of call of duty black ops to show my friend in san fran that he should get and i have already recorded the video onto a DVD but i can't rip it onto my computer. so the question is do you know any way to rip the information off the DVD?
 
A couple of ways just drag the VIDEO_TS folder to the desktop or a folder on the computer and thats the entire video in that folder to make copies just burn the VIDEO_TS folder using the DVD-ROM(UDF) format and thats how we copy DVDs that we make.

As for the info of the VIDEO_TS folder thats another story inside the folder there are VIDEO_TS.VOB or .VOB files those have the info Encoded to open that use MPEG Streamclip http://www.squared5.com/
Open it and then convert the video to whatever format that you want.

If its a DVD from the store copying the VIDEO_TS will not work as well as the VOB files as it does not allow that function.
