How do I suggest a trade to my new team on My Player mode in NBA 2K11?

I was first drafted by Newjersey and was asked to make suggestions for who my team should try and trade for within the first 5-10 games. I later requested a trade and was traded to Detroit. I've played over 30 games with Detroit and still have not been asked to suggest trades. can i suggest without them asking?
 
Yeah, just go My Trades and request a trade. Its in the My Player main menu, hope that helps.
