...eye area? A.K.A. red yeast? I gave my shih tzu a kennel cut, to start fresh and grow out the hair as if she was a puppy a again. I'm trying to grow out her nose hair so she can have a fuller mustache and a fuller top knot. I think its just gorgeous. But she is starting to water and stain brownish,red, or dark orange from the tips of her hair touching her eyes. I know its only temporary but she is looking some what messy and a little wet under her eyes. I cant wait to grow it out, but i don't want her to have an eye infection or red yeast. So what can i do to prevent this and still grow it out with out cutting it or trimming the nose hair???? This question is only for Vets and people that take there Shih Tzu to show with that long full coat.... (Most Groomers dont agree to grow it out they like to cut and that is why this question is intended for people who show the Shih Tzu or Veterinarians.)
