How do "traveling" Monks get money? My wife is openly giving this Monk money.?
This Monk is giving my wife advice on some things. My wife is giving her money. I don't like the idea because how can the Monk be impartial? For example: My wife is not really studying Buddhism. She claims to be a Buddhist. Which in and of itself I guess is harmless. Except she's not acting like a very spiritual person these days. She's quite short tempered actually. Other example: My wife's Mom died 3 months ago. My wife needs counseling for this if you ask me. The Monk told me that she suggested this to my wife. But to no avail. However the Monk seems to have complete control over my wife. So if she insisted that my wife go to counseling, then she probably would. But again, my wife is giving her money so maybe she doesn't want to push it if she knows my wife is dead set against it??? I'm not sure?
