My accord isnt shifting properly anymore, i.e. revs at 5000 for a good 5-10 seconds before shifting from 1 to 2. And same from 2 to 3 etc. I suspect my accord's kickdown cable is loose or faulty.. where can i locate it in my car so i can tighten it? thanks

dude I had the same problem with mine, or so i thought(I had an '88). I adjusted the throttle, which was located right between the firewall and the engine, very easy to see, it's right on top. However, it was my oil pump that was causing this to happen. Check your oil pump. If nothing is wrong with your oil pump, or your pressure, go ahead and check the throttle, if you can't find it, you can get one of those auto repair manuals and they have schematics where you can find any car. I wish you luck, because it'll blow your engine.
