How do you fix the power lock on the driver side door of a 2004 Mercedes E320?

The power lock on the driver side door no longer works and my dad and I are looking for a way to fix it ourselves rather than taking it to a mechanic so we can save some money. If anyone knows anything PLEASE let me know! I have a 2004 Mercedes E320 and I would really love to fix this problem because all it does is a loud clicking noise. Thanks in advance!
