How do you open the security case on DVD?

I just bought a Breaking Dawn part 2 DVD and then my mom didn't know that we have to remove the security case, so she just scanned the DVD by herself. And when we arrived home, I knew that we couldn't open it. What should I do to open the security case?

gotta go back to the store. Bring your receipt with you so they know you did not steal it.
And it really depends on what sort of security case is on it. Sometimes you can pick them off, but really the easiest thing to do is just to go back to the store.
