Hello!

My parents know me as a straight A student, normal, and nice. But one night on an Entertainment Tonight show, I saw how Pole Dancing can really sculpt you, and, well, make you very fit after a while.

Now, I saw a few (appropriate) videos on how to do it for fitness, and it looked fun. I'd love to do it, knowing I kind of need a little "boost". (LOL!!)

But I'm 11. How the heck do I tell my parents so they don't freak out? I immediately get goose bumps when I think of telling them, and if I did tell them, by email or voice, I have no clue what their reactions would be.

I'm not planning on being a stripper when I'm older, I just want to do this for fun, for fitness. So again, I'm 11, how do I tell my parents I want to do this without them freaking out??

Please, HELP!!!!! I've watched videos how to strectch for the moves, do the moves, and all I need is a pole... but I need to ask for something like that. Again... HELP!!!! PLEASE!!!! Thank you so much!!! :)

it doesn't matter how you tell them. IF they're good parents, they'll kindly say no, you can't. 11 is too young for that kind of thing.
even if they say yes, there's no fitness class that will allow an 11 year old in.

if you want to get fit, look into joining a sports time or dance class (a non-stripper dance class)

I was along for the ride until I saw the "But I'm 11." There's no way around this, your parents will not approve. Pole dancing, even for fitness, involves sexy moves, and I don't think daddy is going to like thinking of his 11 year old girl doing those sexy moves. You know, you could take up a dance, not ballet but something more active. Then you don't have to be sexing it up, so to speak.

just tell your mom didn't you know she did the same thing... that's how she meet your dad :)
