How does a bent rim affect driving?

Say a car has a bent rim. Should you avoid driving period, or is it okay to drive say 45 minutes in moderately snowy conditions? And is driving four hours out of the question?
Ok, hope this helps... my boyfriend is driving from Detroit to Flint (you need to take a highway, you will be traveling at LEAST 65 mph, the speedlimit is 70mph), about 30-45 minutes. On a bent rim. He's going to hang out with his frat buddies.

The bent rim was his excuse to not see me this weekend. But I DO live four hours away, I'm just trying to rationalize this shit.
The bent rim is on the front passenger's side. I don't know how bad it is, but apparently it's not bad enough to risk driving in snowy weather, going at least 65mph.

it depends on how bad it is bent, if you can visually see the wheel bent this is a bad one, if not, a small drive up to 45 mph and judge the shake or wobble amount,a little bit is ok, if it is in the rear, this is less dangerous.

in fact, only a little bit in the front, you could swap the tires front to back and get yourself a little more time to find another rim, the rubber tire will become worn unevenly and the tire might be needed to be replaced

Not only the loss of lives but also other damage to the car. Ball joints, brakes calipers, tie rods, struts, tire blow outs! Dont drive your car get it fixed!

do not repeat do not drive your car with a bent rim it could lead to alot more serious mechanical problems not including the loss of your life or others.
