How does physical activity prevent and cure derpression and anxiety?

It keeps your circulation going which is important for proper brain function. Also, if you are doing something active it keeps you away from other things that could be affecting your brain like tv or useless websites like myspace. Exercising keeps you thinking properly.

its a domino effect. your body gets used to not doing anything therefore you wont have the energy. and if you dont the energy for anything youll feel unaccomplished, then depressed. when you exersize its physically and mentally healthy. i dont know all the technical terms but it really does create a chain reaction of different feelings if you do (or dont) exersize.
