It cripples education and science to a point where a permissible answer is "Jesus/God did it" and people believe Christianity is on the same level as evolution (complete utter BS). Oh, and medical breakthroughs are halted because stem cells are people too. Oh, and anything that goes against the bible is somethin of Satan and anti-Christ.

Then idiots begin to sprout and accuse Obama of being the Anti-Christ through pure fear mongering.

edit: wow, I'm not surprised though. Most of the people on the politcs section are inbred racists with an education that never exceeded the 3rd grade. For the sake of sanity, I usually stay away from them. There is not point in arguing with them. There's a higher possibility for me to walk on water than to put logic through their 10 cent brains

It undermines Christianity, it undermines the US Constitution and values America was founded upon, It undermines the US moral position in the world, it leads to war, death, and destruction. It seeks to oppress, destroy liberty and has made a mockery of Christs work.
 
I believe it prevents us from 1. understanding why we have become so reviled, 2. gives any action we take in the Middle East the air of a modern Crusade and 3. makes us look like a backward-moving sociological entity rather than a forward-moving one.
