One thing we all know is the dirty used car dealer do fool the buyers, not all but just few. Question is how they hide the problem and what they do to make it so cannot been see while test and drive?
One example that some guy who repair my car told me, like if airbag light was on, they don't repair the airbag, they just put a black tape on top of light on dash to cover the red light. So buyer won't know that airbag is not work.
Second example is muffler that has gone bad, they just use a metal belt to cover the muffler hole so buyer can't hear them.
What else example that you knows about?
I am not talking about illegal like changes the mileages on car, I am talking about something where we can't prove it if it was from them or not if we found out.
What about oil leaking, let say if this car does leak the whole oil at every 5 miles, so you have to buy new gallons of oil every 5 miles, how do used car dealer make it trick so buyer can't see them and won't know even those they drive 30 miles as test drive?
What about transmission? Let say if it only work at two speed out of 4 speed, how do they make it seem like works at all speeds without buyers seeing those?
Let say CVS joints or a ball joints got broke, how they do thing to make it seem work well for test and drive?
