How good are SWAT boots when it comes to mountain hiking and their insulation?

I'm debating whether to get SWAT boots, and the ones I want aren't insulated. How well do non-insulated SWAT boots stand up to the cold?
I'm talking specifically about the Brahma SWAT boots.

The mountains I'm referring to are the Smoky mountains...so its not like I'm climbing in the Rockies. Still, the main thing I'm concerned about is how insulated SWAT boots are.

well man if your looking at any mountains that are going to be hard you would probably want to look for a nice solid hiking boot that fits right so you can cut back on the blisters.
