even remotely close to the economy? doesn't it fix transportation problems for people who ride bikes? or maybe helps with our health?

Because when the economy crashes and gas is $1500.00 a gallon, all of us taxpayers can ride our bikes to work. Someone has to pay this "stimulus" money back.

It is just more of that "green" crap their spreading! Did you hear the next thing they are going after is beef, yep cows! You know why? This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard in my life ....... because cows have a large amount of flatulence i.e., fart, pass gas.... etc.!

What the he** is wrong with these people?

It employs the people who build and maintain the bike path.

It requires equipment to be manufactured to build and maintain the path. In order to manufacture the equipment, a company must have employees.

I guess it creates jobs for ppl willing to build bike paths?

Creates jobs for the people producing bikes?

idk

When the bottom fall out and we can't afford the gas for our cars we will need the bike paths to get to work if we still have jobs. And they can also be used to walk if you can't afford the bike.
O baa ma just wants every one working to make their wages so he can tax them to put more money in the coffers of the Fed, so he can borrow more from them. It is a large overlapping circle designed to break the nation to build the NEW WORLD ORDER!

The people who build the path pay taxes on their wages. They can then use what's left to buy things at stores. The people who work in the stores can hire an extra employee. Then that employee can buy things at stores and pay taxes on his wages. Also, any improvements to the neighborhood you're house is in raises the value of that house.
