How long does it take smokeless tobacco to show SERIOUS effect on gums and lips?

i have been doing it for the past 3 weeks 3 times a day(not too bad). how badly has this increased my risk for cancer. how long will it be till i see signs of gum recession and leukoplakia?

i will be using it for only 3-4 more months to help me study for end of the year collage exams?
IT'S MOIST SNUFF..
