This isn't what you'd like to hear, but nicotine never leaves the system, because the tar (tobacco mixture being rolled inside the cigarrette) leaves residue in your veins that will most likely permanently mix with your blood. It can also clog your veins and cause rupturing and serious cardiovascular problems. If you need an excuse, you can say you're on the patch, haha.
