I cooked bacon Sunday morning and its been sitting in my microwave since. It's Tuesday (2 days later) and I want to heat some of it up for my burger tonight. Is it safe to eat? I did the same thing last night and it tasted fine and I'm still alive. Thanks

I am sure it will be good due to the huge mount of salt in it.

Yeah go ahead and eat it but don't blame me if you die tommorow morning!

Don't eat it! It will be fine but its gonna be stale and nasty.

One of my grandmothers kept the left over bacon on a tray covered with a paper towel in the "saving drawer" in her kitchen. She never put it in the fridge. None of us ever died from eating the left over bacon even days later in BLTs.

However I keep the left over bacon in a zip lock bag in the fridge. I usually use it for another dish later in the day, but it sometimes gets overlooked for several days.

Just be sure to heat it to completely hot!
