how much of a difference would a 245 horse powered truck compared to a 300 horse...

...powered truck make a? differece in pulling something up hill that is heavy?
 
The real answer is pretty complicated such as gear ratios, automatic or manual, and of course how much the truck itself weighs. But overall the 300 horsepower truck should handle a heavy load quite a bit easier than the 245.
