Sorry, kind of a car dunce and searching for my first car. My parents said they will buy me one on the condition that it is an early 18th birthday present (really early) and I have to share w/ my bro who is able to start learning fairly soon. We both like the Honda Jazz (Honda Fit) but are unsure how suitable this car would be for a new driver and a learner, any ideas? I have passed my driving test as of yesterday and I am looking at cars. I don't want to get a Vauxhall Corsa because lots of people have one, and loads of my friends have one.
I was wondering if a Honda Jazz (or Honda Fit to people in America, Japan and China) is suitable? Is it 50cc or 100c? I was also told it held 1.2 litres. Or is it more less, my mum said she won't buy me a car that holds anymore.
And most importantly, does it take petrol, diesel, or does it depend on the individual car? Because I learned on a diesel and my driver instructor recommended I continue to use a diesel car as it is different to driving a petrol car and harder to go from diesel to petrol than the other way around. Any and all help appreciated. Complete car dunce sending out an S.O.S!
Thanks.
