How to clean my scratched Xbox 360 disc?

anybody have any advice on how to fix my scratched disc. My halo 3 disc has a scratch ring around it and i want to know a way to fix it without buying anything so any help.

Toothpaste, believe it or not, does a great job at cleaning discs. Cover the entire side with toothpaste, let it dry, then rub it off with a non-abrasive cloth.
