Im 15 years old and I don't have a cell phone. I specifically want a TracFone because of how affordable it would be. I have tried to convince my parents for 3 years now to get one, but theyre cheapskates. I rarely ever get anything from them, and I just really want a cell phone finally. Im always getting A's, last time I got a low grade (C) was in 5th grade (Currently in 10th). Ive been trying to hard academically, Im even going to be Graduating early at 16 years old.
They hate spending money, but both of them are very wealthy people. They depict all of my bad traits and use it against me. Im an honest to goodness responsible and respectful person.
Also, my parents are very old people, almost 60. Its hard for them to understand 'texting' , they say "Youve got the phone, just call them!" and it leave me in a corner to respond. Help me out, how do I convince them for a TracFone and with texting?
