how to get best picture out of regular direct tv sattelite box? (please answer)?

i have a regular (not hd) direct tv sattelite box. i have recently been using the, what i am guessing is a coaxial cable, to connect my box to my tv. however, now i am wondering if i can get a better picture, if not even slightly better, with the use of a composite or RCA cable? if you have any useful input at all, please comment.

I have two non hd tvs and two receivers and I use direct tv. The cable from the wall the box is ok. On one of my sets I use an s-video cable and get a fine picture on another one I use the usual RCA cables and they give a bit fuzzier picture.

But you can only do so much because you can only get 480i on a non hd set.....at best only 720i

I am anxious to see other answers because I might learn something too
