How to get custom ringtones for Text Messages on my Android?

Hey, I just a got the new Samsung Infuse with At&t. Its an android and i downloaded the song i want to my phone and put it in ringdroid, and its my ringtone. But I want it as my text message tone also. When i go to messages and go to settings it has the default ringtones but none of of my custom ones. I really want to figure this out so it you know how to do this PLEASE help!

Look at your manual, all phones are different, sometimes you have to put the ringtone as your default (for phone calls) in order to get it on the list when you are trying to set it as your txt tone.
