how to read nutrition facts for losing weight?

Its actually better to try & stay away from pre-packaged foods. Just eat from nature. Fruits, veg, beans, nuts. Saturated fat & trans fat you should watch. & not so much calories but you should watch portions.

Do I look more on how much calories what I am eating is, or the grams of fat?
I usually look at the saturated fat... but what's more important?

You should look at both plus the ingredients. If you are looking at the saturated fat there should be none at all and make sure the calories are not too high unless they are healthy like nuts.
