How to update blue ray on PS3?

I Just got my Sony Bravia hX800 with Ps3 and ive always wanted to play the movie 300 spartans on blue ray and now i bought the movie and ive played it and it dosent look as CLEAR as it was displayed on BESTBUY i dont know is it my TV or is it my PS3 Needing a Blue ray update?

if your ps3 is updated so is the blu-ray player software
to update a ps3 either connect it online or use the playstation website and a flash drive

are you using hdmi ?
have the ps3 set up right ? enable super white , rgb full etc. ?
same model tv as in store with same settings ?
if you don't have the same setup it will always look different , they even set up lighting in stores to optimize how tv's look and have the seating set up for the best viewing angles etc. .
