I’m a newbie to RPG games and need some help finding a good RPG game?

I’m a newbie to RPG games and all I pretty much know about is fable and dragon origins and fallout 3 I’m looking for a RPG game that would involving choosing a characters gender or race and pretty much control the character’s actions I don’t like when I’m forced to be good and if possible I would like to be able to flirt and lead on other characters for my personal benefit are there any other games like that besides the ones I’ve already said PLEASE someone help me.
 
i was in the same sich for ages

i saw a mate on fallout 3 looked gay
owned fable 2 didnt even finish it caus it licked sack

but i really got into oblivion. lasted ages, really detailed gameplay and menus
this was about 6 months ago. im pretty sure thered be a newere better version. i think it might be dark messiah or something. but ne way the creaters are legends called havok makers of oblivion b4 that halflife 2 and b4 all that. we all remember counter-strike
 
Pre-order Fable 3. Comes out in November! Borderlands is kinda sweet but it's kinda straight forward and there's really cool DLC for that one. Oh and there's a new disc out for Dragon Age. it's called Dragon Age: Awakening

Haha The Sims kinda fits that description. Other than that, as far as I know, Dragon Age would be the best fit.
 
Well it would depend on the RPG you are looking for. If you like Online RPGs, known as MMORPGs, Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game I highly suggest the following:

1. World of Warcraft (4 Years Experience)
2. Everquest 2 (3 Years Experience)
3. Star Wars Galaxies (2 Years Experience)
4. Guild Wars

offline RPGs, otherwise single-player, I HIGHLY recommend the first, as it is un-arguably the best game I have ever played

1. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (If god shat onto a disc, then this is that game, nuff said)
2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Damn good game, made by the same company that made Dragon Age Origins)
3. Mass Effect 2 (VERY GOOD GAME, I highly suggest playing, however, playing the first is highly recommended, because the choices you made in the first, affect you in this one)
4. Mass Effect
5. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 (Very psychologically dark game, not as good as the first, but still a notable game.)
 
Sorry, but it sounds as though the best game for you would be Dragon Age: Origins. Elder Scrolls: Oblivion could be a good choice too. Also, Fallout: New Vegas has been announced, if you are willing to wait.
 
There is runescape, but you cannot pick your race. But there is also Dungeons and dragons online. It is a download game, and free. You choose your class, race, path, and customize your character. I'd say you should play that one.
 
The only one i can think of is elder scrolls 4: Oblivion, but you can't really flirt persay..
