I can't get my DVD Burner to split the file...?

I'm using Power2Go 4.2 ..yes I know...old. I'm trying to burn a movie but it's too long for the disc and so I need to split it. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get p2g to do it. The read me says this version has the ability, it's under the new features section. When I try to burn the file it says that it's exceeded the time limit on the disc but it never asks to split it, it just starts burning and when it reaches the max of the disc it says it's completed. Anyone know how to do this?
 
I'm amazed by the trouble people will go to and the length of time they will spend on getting something for free that should not be free.
There are no legal free downloads of movies and there are no guarantees with illegal downloads.
